The life of a comment card!
Every now and then we leave out comment cards for customers to fill in, we’re told lots of things, foods great, foods ok, foods rubbish, staff are brilliant, staff are ....and so on.
We’re not looking to be patted on the back nor will we throw a member of staff off a very high building if we’re told they didn’t smile! What we do is score all the cards and look at how we compared to the last time. Are we better in all aspects or have we slipped up. If we see a drop in the scores then we look at them more closely and see if we can fix the problem.
I can honestly tell you that the area we have given up on is background music! (This

Hot potato!
Yes we do have the occasional comment card which merits a sit down with all involved, we look at it, verify the problem and try to stop the problem happening again. We would rather know there was a problem so we can stop it happening again.
